Venue - Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace National Sports Centre (CPNSC) is located in the London Borough of Bromley in South London.
CPNSC was built in 1964 and provides an excellent indoor and outdoor sports stadiums which includes basketball court, 50m swimming pool, diving pool, athletic stadium and some other sports. The Sports Centre was refurbished and completed in April 2009.
The venue gets its name from the orginal Crystal Palace, built in London's Hyde Park for the Great Exhibition of 1851, which was dismantled and moved piece by piece and re-erected in Crystal Palace Park. The Sports Centre is easily accessible by rail and road. The railway station, served by overground trains from London Bridge and London Victoria, exits directly into Crystal Palace Park, only a few minutes walk from the stadium.
