The 2012 were good to us. There have been successes, achievements and fulfilling work. We have found supporters/sponsors (that’s what is most important) who kept the basketball halls for basketball players to attend training sessions, made the 1st Deaf Women Tournament happen and the GB men team went to the Deaf Basketball Championships in Turkey 2012. There were lots of meetings, plans and ideas by the time of the 2012.
Thank you to those who took care of, educated and loved us. Thank you to those who have dedicated their own time for DBUK, met people to look at the visionary plans, as well as to make them real. Thanks to those who in their own way contributed to the DBUK’s specific goals. We also thank those who voluntarily encouraged others to take an interest in basketball.
The 2013 will be a great challenge for us. There are projects and plans to make them real, which will encourage Deaf/Hard of Hearing children, teenagers and adults to get involved in basketball in different regions around the UK.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New 2013!!! Looking forward to seeing you in the 2013 soon!
