Official Announcement: 2009 U20 GB Deaf Men Basketball Team

Deaf Basketball UK in conjunction with UK Deaf Sports officially announces the 2009 Under-20 Great Britain Deaf Men Basketball team who will be competing in the 2nd DIBF U20 European Deaf Basketball Championships to be held in Lublin, Poland on 22 to 27 June 2009.

DBUK wish the GB players and officials with all the best of luck in this prestige youth European championships along with other 7 European countries. This is the first time for Great Britain deaf sports to be competing in the under-20 age group championships and they are already setting their sight to 2010 U20 World Deaf Basketball Championships to be held in Stockholm, Sweden in June 2010. With very limit funding, this would not have been made possible without the support of players’ families, friends and our associates – thank you to all.
